What are Abortion Pills?

Medication abortion, also known as abortion pills, is a safe and effective way to end an early pregnancy. Two kinds of pills are used: mifepristone and misoprostol. Abortion pills work best up to 11 weeks, but it is best to take them as early in the pregnancy as possible. The efficacy goes down with each week of pregnancy. Medication abortion is not the same as Plan B or emergency contraception.

  3. Read the instructions and take your pills accordingly

Self-Managed Abortion
