RRVA is made up of three entities: our main 501(c)(4) policy and political arm; the 501(c)(3) REPRO Rising Virginia Foundation, which oversees our issue advocacy, culture change and education programming; and the REPRO Rising Virginia Political Action Committee which works to elect pro-reproductive freedom candidates. Currently, our staff are located across our offices in Alexandria and Richmond.
Role Summary: The Canvass Organizer in the Prince William County/Richmond Area area, will play a key role in managing volunteer canvassing programs, conducting deep canvassing, and overseeing voter engagement initiatives. This role involves extensive fieldwork, ensuring voter outreach efforts are executed effectively.

Compensation Package:
- Hourly rate: $26.37-$28.57

Organizing Field Intern

Role Summary
The Organizing Field Intern is a temporary, hourly position supporting RRVA’s organizing and voter engagement efforts during the 2026 election cycle. Interns will play a hands-on role in engaging voters, supporting canvassing operations, and helping mobilize communities across Virginia in support of reproductive freedom.
This role is ideal for individuals interested in grassroots organizing, civic engagement, political advocacy, and community outreach. Interns will gain direct field experience working alongside organizers, volunteers, and campaign staff in a fast-paced advocacy environment.
This internship is funded through November 6, 2026. Interns may work up to 10–20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and will report directly to the Canvass & Field Manager.

Role Summary
The Events Coordination & Data Intern is a temporary, hourly position supporting RRVA’s Development Team during the 2026 election cycle from June 2026 through November 3, 2026. This role will assist with donor engagement events, stewardship activities, event logistics, and CRM data management to help strengthen fundraising and supporter engagement efforts across Virginia.
This internship is ideal for someone interested in nonprofit development, event coordination, donor relations, political fundraising, or operations support. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting mission-driven events and maintaining accurate donor and supporter data in a fast-paced
advocacy environment.
Interns may work approximately 10–20 hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends, and will report directly to the Development Team.

- Assist with scheduling and coordinating house parties and donor events.

Rise Up For REPRO Student Advocacy Fellowship

About the Student Advocacy Fellowship
The Student Advocacy Fellowship is open to undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors enrolled at a Virginia public or private university. Two fellowship positions are open at each Virginia university and applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until filled.
Fellows commit to 8 hours of work a week in the fall and spring semesters, and 2 – 4 hours a week over winter break. Our fellows also receive a stipend per semester to compensate them for their work.
Each academic year, REPRO Rising Virginia offers an exclusive, yearlong fellowship opportunity to driven, passionate students ready to join the ranks of Virginia’s reproductive freedom champions. Our program develops next-generation leaders with the skills and support they need to make change on their campus and in Virginia!

- Assist with volunteer recruitment and engagement efforts.
- Accurately enter and maintain field data using campaign-approved tools and platforms.
- Utilize campaign-approved scripts and materials to communicate key messages.
- Support canvass staging, event setup, and field logistics when needed.
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and team check-ins.
- Maintain regular communication with supervisors and organizing staff.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with community members and voters in face-to-face settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced campaign environment.
- Organized, dependable, and responsive.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Basic familiarity with smartphones, tablets, or digital data entry tools preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Passionate about reproductive freedom, civic engagement, and community organizing.
- Previous canvassing, organizing, customer service, or community engagement experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed during campaign activity.
- Reliable transportation strongly preferred for travel to assigned turf locations and events.
- Dependable with strong follow-through and accountability.
Working Conditions
- Work may take place across various neighborhoods and communities within assigned regions.
- Extended periods of walking, standing, and outdoor work may be required.
- Position may involve evening and weekend work to effectively engage community members and support campaign operations.
Work Structure
- Temporary fellowship running from June 2026 through November 3, 2026.
- Flexible scheduling with approximately 10–20 hours per week.
- Hybrid field-based role with organizing activities across Virginia regions.
- Reports directly to the Canvass & Field Manager.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $21.00 per hour.

- This fellowship is not eligible for employer-sponsored benefits.
