Remembering Stacy Collins, dedicated REPRO Rising Virginia board member and reproductive freedom advocate

REPRO Rising Virginia and the REPRO Rising Virginia Foundation would like to honor the recent and sudden passing of our dear friend and board leader, Stacy Collins, and to acknowledge the enormous hole she now leaves behind in our organization and in our hearts.

Stacy served as a member of the board of directors for nearly 6 years as an active donor, volunteer, and cheerleader before taking on the role of Foundation chair in 2025. Stacy put her whole heart into every task or role she took on, and she did not hesitate to recruit others to the cause. Throughout her tenure, Stacy worked closely with the board’s gala committee to grow and transform our silent auction, actively soliciting silent auction items, developing long-lasting relationships with auction donors, and helping to raise money for our leadership development, grassroots organizing, and policy initiatives.

She was beloved by her fellow REPRO Rising Virginia board members and staff alike for her endless enthusiasm, energy, and passion for the cause of reproductive freedom. Stacy’s willingness to take on seemingly thankless tasks and commitments on behalf of the organization and the work she so loved was only eclipsed by her contagious energy, whether she was onstage at the annual REPRO gala, knocking on doors on behalf of reproductive freedom candidates across the Commonwealth, attending rallies or participating in board and committee meetings, Stacy was a true servant leader, dedicating her life to the causes she cared passionately about.

REPRO Rising Virginia holds all who knew and loved Stacy in our hearts in this difficult time, especially her family and close friends. May she rest in power.
