Alexandria, VA – REPRO Rising Virginia PAC, the political action arm of the Commonwealth’s only primary reproductive rights, policy, and advocacy organization, is proud to endorse five incumbent members of Virginia’s congressional delegation in the upcoming general election on November 3, 2026: Jennifer McClellan (VA-04), Eugene Vindman (VA-07), Don Beyer (VA-08), Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10), and James Walkinshaw (VA-11).

“REPRO Rising Virginia PAC is honored to endorse these five outstanding members of Congress. There is no doubt that Reps. McClellan, Vindman, Beyer, Subramanyam, and Walkinshaw will continue to fight to protect and expand access to birth control, abortion, and the full spectrum of reproductive healthcare at the federal level in these polarized and challenging times,” said Tarina Keene, Executive Director of REPRO Rising Virginia.

“Attacks on reproductive rights and access will not stop with this one election – or with the passage of the Virginia Constitutional Amendment for Reproductive Freedom – but knowing we’re sending these repro rights warriors back to D.C. should help Virginians sleep more soundly at night. We know they will fight to bring back federal protections to abortion that we lost when Pres. Trump’s nominated justices on the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and stripped Americans of their right to abortion care.”

“I’m honored to have REPRO Rising Virginia PAC support my work protecting reproductive freedom and access to care for all Americans,” said Rep. McClellan. “As chair of the U.S. House Reproductive Freedom Caucus’ Abortion Rights and Access Task Force, and someone who nearly died in childbirth, I am fighting to ensure that everyone can make the decision of when, whether and how to become a parent and access the reproductive care they need when they need it without government interference. I look forward to continued partnership with REPRO Rising as we fight back against the Trump Administration’s attacks on reproductive freedom.”

“Virginia is the last state in the South without an abortion ban, and we must fight to keep it that way. As the father of a teenage daughter, I refuse to accept a future where she grows up with fewer rights than the generations of women who came before her,” said Rep. Vindman. “That’s why I’m honored to have the endorsement of Repro Rising Virginia in my campaign for reelection. I’ll always fight to protect reproductive health care and ensure every woman has the right to make decisions about her own body and future.”

“I have been a steadfast ally for reproductive freedom in Congress.  While reproductive freedom continues to be under threat across the country, Virginia remains the only southern state that has not banned access to abortion since the fall of Roe v. Wade.  I will continue to be a loud and proud voice in Congress to help protect reproductive freedom and expand it nationwide,” said Rep. Beyer.

“The fight for reproductive freedom is not one that can be secured in a single election, so it is critical that we continue to stand up for it every Congress. I’m proud to be a fighter for reproductive freedom. I will work tirelessly to protect reproductive freedom from those who are determined to roll back those rights.“ said Rep. Subramanyam.

“I’m proud to have REPRO Rising’s endorsement and to stand alongside them in the fight for reproductive freedom. Together, we’re working to protect access to abortion, defend the right to make our own health care decisions, and ensure every Virginian can decide if, when, and how to start a family. I look forward to continuing that work together until reproductive freedom is protected for everyone,” said Rep. Walkinshaw.

With Virginia voters deciding on the Constitutional Amendment for Reproductive Freedom on Election Day, this is an important step – protecting the rights our amendment guarantees will require attention not only to what happens in Richmond, but also in Washington. Federal legislation, executive actions, agency decisions, and the courts could strengthen or undermine the rights Virginians will enshrine.
