National Womens Health Week 2026

Reproductive healthcare resources you can share

This National Women’s Health Week, as the Supreme Court indefinitely stays a Fifth Circuit decision that would’ve halted telehealth access to mifepristone, we still know a few things to be true:

  1. Abortion is legal in Virginia. And it is still accessible via telehealth and in-person visits.
  2. This one decision on mifepristone is not the end of the discussion.
  3. Opponents of abortion care are still going to keep attacking all forms of reproductive healthcare, including birth control, telehealth access, fertility treatments, and more.

These attacks are not based in science or medicine, but meant to cause chaos, confusion, and fear, while stigmatizing people who seek abortion care. This Supreme Court decision only restores access until the next case making its way through the lower courts ends up in front of the justices; then all bets are off.

If you or someone you know needs reproductive care or support accessing abortion, check out our Resources page. You’ll find info on the clinics in Virginia, how to get abortion pills online, and even information on abortion funds that may be able to help you with the costs.

If you live in a state with an abortion ban, there are still ways to access mifepristone and other safe and effective medication abortion protocols via telehealth. Check out these resources compiled by our friends at Ms. Magazine/Feminist Campus and RHITES:

We aren’t satisfied with the status quo! REPRO Rising Virginia and our coalition partners will continue to educate those who need care no matter where they live in the United States and fight for their right and access to abortion. Every person deserves to be able to decide what is best for themselves and their families.
