What's at stake
Virginia is an outlier as it currently sits as the only state in the South without a post-Roe abortion ban. As such, the upcoming November 7th, 2023 election will decide the fate of Reproductive Freedom for thousands of people seeking care inside the Commonwealth and throughout the overall region. Every single state Senate seat and every member of the House of Delegates is on the ballot, which means YOU have the opportunity to decide what comes next.
Candidates across Virginia are also running within newly drawn district lines this election cycle. With redistricting came legislative retirements, competitive primaries, the success of long-time supporters, and the emergence of brand-new defenders of Reproductive Freedom. Now, with a strong, progressive slate for the general election in November, the pieces are in place to shake up Virginia’s legislature for the better. We’ve flipped Virginia before and can do it again – but it won’t happen without a fight.

Critical Voting Dates
Early voting starts Friday, September 22, 2023.
The deadline to register to vote or update voting information is October 16, 2023.
The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is October 27, 2023.
The last day of early voting is Saturday, November 4, 2023
Election Day is Tuesday, November 7, 2023
