Nichole lives and works by the motto, “Do the work and tell the story!” Nichole is a proud Virginian, born and raised in Chesapeake, college in Williamsburg at the College of William and Mary, and lived for 20 years in Charles City County. Nichole started her career in government with the goal of becoming a senior level executive in a state agency. After 15 years in Administration at the Virginia Department of Health, Nichole’s began to consider a change in career. Due to her volunteer work with cancer survivors she began to get more involved in advocacy and legislation and she decided to take a turn into politics.
In 2018 she served as the Central Virginia Political Director for Tim Kaine’s reelection. She then went on to become the Legislative Assistant to then State Senator, now Congresswoman, Jennifer McClellan. After a few years in the Senate, Nichole began her non profit advocacy career with the American Heart Association. Since then she has worked both full-time and as a consultant with non profit organizations to push forward policies to improve the lives of Virginians in health care, education, and criminal justice.
Nichole now lives in Henrico County with her son, daughter, goddaughter, and pup Apollo. When not working or with her family, Nichole enjoys spending time with her family, community service with her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and watching crime documentaries.
