Chrisi West is a digital and communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in websites, social media, email, and advocacy messaging. As the Sr. Communications Manager for REPRO Rising Virginia, she leads the organization’s communications strategy to increase its reach and elevate its mission across the Commonwealth in preparation for the new Constitutional Amendment on reproductive freedom.
Chrisi’s career in non-profits has taken her from supporting issues as diverse as military and military family benefits, early childhood education, LGBTQ rights, and the Equal Rights Amendment. She has had a long-time interest in reproductive rights and access, and currently serves as a clinic escort right here in Virginia.
Her background also includes extensive grassroots organizing experience and digital advocacy work across Virginia supporting gun violence prevention, health care reform, and candidates running for office. Chrisi earned a degree in Communications: Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh (Hail to Pitt!), and lives in Alexandria with her husband Jeff, and her three cats, Linus, Pitt Stop, and April Ludgate Snakehole Macklin Karate Dwyer West.
