REPRO Rising Virginia PAC Endorses Former Delegate Mike Jones in the Virginia Senate District 15 Special Election

Alexandria, VA – REPRO Rising Virginia PAC, the political action arm of one of the Commonwealth’s leading and only primary reproductive rights policy and advocacy organization, is proud to endorse Delegate Mike Jones in the special election for Virginia Senate District 15.  

This special election represents one of the most consequential moments for reproductive freedom in Virginia in a generation. The outcome will directly determine whether the General Assembly has the votes needed to advance—and ultimately protect—the Constitutional Amendment for Reproductive Freedom, as well as other core legislative priorities that safeguard access to abortion and contraception.  

REPRO Rising Virginia PAC’s endorsement is grounded in Delegate Jones’ record in elected office and his demonstrated commitment to reproductive rights. In the House of Delegates, Jones has consistently supported legislation protecting access to reproductive healthcare, and backed the proposed constitutional amendment to enshrine reproductive freedom in Virginia’s Constitution.  

With abortion rights under sustained attack nationally, Virginia’s role as a firewall for reproductive healthcare is not guaranteed. A single seat in the Senate could determine whether constitutional protections move forward or stall, whether abortion providers are supported or left vulnerable, and whether Virginians have the freedom to make personal medical decisions without government interference.

Based on his record and votes in office, Delegate Jones is the leader we need to protect access to care and keep Virginia moving forward.”
