Samantha Plante joined REPRO Rising Virginia in November of 2022 as the Development Associate where she manages all donor contributions, coordinates fundraising events, and implements the organization’s stewardship program.
Samantha was born in San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala, but was raised in Minnesota by her adoptive parents. Samantha’s personal history combined with her student experience at the state’s only all-girls, Catholic school sparked her interest and passion for equal reproductive healthcare for all. She later attended the University of Chicago, pursuing a curriculum centered on reproductive justice and human rights. She graduated with honors in 2021.
Before joining our REPRO Rising Virginia team, Samantha worked for Georgetown University’s development team, managing a team of undergraduate student employees for the Annual Fund Phonathon. Samantha is excited to use her data analysis and strategical planning skills in this role at RRVA.
