Mario Guevara joined REPRO Rising Virginia in April of 2023 as the Development Director. With over 8 years of experience in fundraising and community engagement, from South Carolina to Virginia, Mario will oversee fundraising efforts, deepen donor relations, and develop strategies to support the organization’s mission of advancing reproductive justice in Virginia.
He is passionate about making fundraising more equitable and inclusive to people in marginalized communities, and serves on the programming committee for AFP’s Inclusive Fundraiser’s Fellowship and is the development chair for He She Ze and We. Mario is passionate about LGBTQ+ advocacy, reproductive rights, immigrant rights, and social justice.
When he is not working, Mario enjoys playing piano, karaoke, live music, and participating in a variety of intramural sports with Stonewall Sports RVA!
